Bloomberg news agency, citing sources, said that the OPEC + technical committee meeting was postponed from June 5 to June 17, and the OPEC + ministerial monitoring committee meeting was postponed from June 8 to 18.
The agency also indicated that no date has been set for the ministerial meetings of "OPEC" and "OPEC +", which he was planning to hold on June 9-10.
During the meeting, the "OPEC +" countries will discuss the situation in the oil market, and the issue of extending the current production cuts (9.7 million barrels per day) until after this June.
A source in one of the delegations told Interfax that Russia and Saudi Arabia agreed to extend the restrictions imposed on oil production, which were in effect in May and June, to include the month of July as well, after which the two sides will consider how the situation will develop.
According to him, the issue now is that all states must fulfill their obligations firmly, and if they are not able to do so, they must make up for the reduction in the next month.
He said: "If one of the countries begins to manipulate quotas or does not comply, then another country will follow and then a third country, and the agreement will collapse."
